Gaz is currently 1.5 points ahead, surely a lead big enough had the next and final round be doubles.
The pressure is on who will crack? Gaz will be boosted by the fact that he has claimed his second weekly win in the penultimate round. He rather amusingly said "The differing feelings of the two managers were apparent on their faces when they realised Marcel Desailly was to officiate the cup final", which will give him great confidence going in to next round. He will also be rallied by the fact that Blockhead's form in double rounds this year is almost as bad as Markthemiller's!
Contrary to popular belief, Matthemiller has not won this week. We unfortunately published his effort for this week in last week's result (which he did win). Apologies for any inconvenience caused. A small error we know but that did not stop some of the locals going up in arms as some of them scrutinise the results with a magnifying glass whilst others cannot see past their own effort being funnier than the actual winner!
Talking of which, Mexmillerno1 has seemingly decided to give up trying to be funny this week and take a homophobic view on life. Hopefully, whilst he sat out his time in the sin bin, he thought of ways to be funny!
TITholm_tiger, seemingly not happy with his own team's MAD board has decided to come on here and throw his opinions round. His score for last week was counted but once again, unfortunately left out. It wasn't a great score anyway but it's been included in this week's scores so he can rest assured that we're not ignoring him just cos he's from Ull.
They'll be a proper write up and a review of the competition next week and hopefully news of next year's tournament should we not take the advice of some and pack it in!
