Ok, thanks to Skip's absence and his fourth consecutive doubles, Gaz regains top spot and leads the competition. His form has been as consistent as any and this his highlighted by the fact he only has one weekly win! This has been a great season so far and Gaz will be hoping that the second half is as successful as the first and he can be crowned the champion come May!
Gaz's lead at the top isn't by a clear margin as bookie's favourite Blockheads has stormed up to second with a great run of form culminating in a 3rd weekly win of the season- and what a time to do it. Not many can deny that his effort of "The Millers board resort to desperate measures in their attempts to lure Ronnie back to Millmoor." is one that is worthy of a win. Blockheads suffered at the start of the season, no doubt the pressure got to him, but as time as gone on his quality has shown through and he looks set to be in the mixer.
Here's a surprise! It's doubles week and Markthemiller has failed to do well! This is becoming somewhat of an embarrassment for Mark. He talks the talk, he does well during non double weeks but as soon as doubles week come along then the pressure gets too much and Mark bottles it. He is a renound bottler now, and the pressure of doubles week must just get too much. As a result Mark is no better than a mid table cannon fodder bottler.
Well, have a look at this. Mexmillerno1, the self acclaimed funny man of Millersmad who is all honesty is not really that funny has gone and pulled a shock by claiming doubles. In all reality though he is no major player in this tournament and this can be testified by the fact he lies just one place above Markthemiller!
A second no show in a row for Foo! Why we wonder? Perhaps she has found her place back in the kitchen?
Timeforale gets his weekly mention that he craves so badly to make him feel popular but only to say that he didn't get doubles and the bookmakers price of 75/1 for him to win the title looks generous at best!
