If Blocky could have managed a 7.5 or even an 8 it would have been a party at his but this must go down as big a disappointment as missing the Auto Windscreens Final eleven years ago!! So still it will go down to the final doubles round.
It is not totally impossible that Steve could get the championship but he would need a very high score next week and a world record high double and low scores from the top two so he really should settle for third place which he has in the bag now. Good consistent form for the Mad Mod but questions will be asked as why a championship challenge wasn't mounted.
Mallorcamiller must have mixed feelings as he enters the final two weeks of the competition. This week sees him pick up his second weekly win of the season and good scores prior to this sees him as one of the most inform players at the minute. Unfortunately he started playing far too late and will not challenge even the lower mid tablers! Maybe one to watch next year. "Sorry Steve but the bookies was shut by the time I got there" was his effort this week.
Looks like we were right about Markthemiller. Another no show. Has he done a Foo and gone off to participate in the Vital washing up competition or has he topped himself? Maybe he his just sat in a dark room berating Duncan Fletcher, Steve McLaren and Brian Ashton whilst quivering at the thought of doubles week in a fortnight. Hope he makes it back for next season.
Mexmillerno1 after a brief flirtation with humour last week slips back to his normal average levels. No doubt he thought he was funny and if Deano thought it was funnier than Mallorca's then it must have been!
Frickleyaway was one of the few entrants that topped the holy grail of 7 points this week. No one is bothered of course, I'm just mentioning it so he knows we have counted his score. That unfortunately, due to space constraints, means that there is no room for Timeforale. Sad times in the TFA household as we all know he loves to be the centre of attention.
