It took long enough though, he went the whole of last season without a win and started off this season looking even less likely to see one. But recent good form has peaked and he claims a massive 8.25 points for his effort of "The Croatian "bung" allegations are caught on cctv for all the world to see......" which was well received by all judges. That mammoth points total also serves in increasing his healthy lead at the top of the table. The title is already in Gino's hands; only some poor form in the doubles, a few no shows or another defection to Vital could hamper his progress.
Gazisamiller had another good effort and he is performing very well in this year's competition. His consistency is there for all to see and if he can continue this form and make sure he's around for the doubles then he has a real chance of glory. Stevelmu09 has stopped moaning for the while probably to do with an upturn in form. He is moving back up the table and his average scores over the history of the competition are second to none. It's just his attitude that lets him down!
After a couple of shaky weeks ColinRUFC is now back in the hunt for honours as he received good marks this week and was actually awarded a 10 by one of the judges for his effort. However, it is only him and Millerbezz in the top five that are yet to record a weekly win.
These are tough times for Blockheads. Touted as the likely winner this year on the back of last season's form he is really struggling this time around. He was very unlucky not to score more heavily last week but this week was a poor effort and if he wants another top three finish he simply cannot afford such a low score. It's going to take a momentus effort and a string of high scores to claw his way back in to the mixer.
St_Verana has put his turbulent week behind him and come in with his best score of the season and sits just outside the top ten, a similar scenario for Wicko_miller and Tivoli_Ben.
The change of name for UFO hasn't done her much good in increasing the amount of humour she owns, which as each week goes by looks more and more like none. She is sitting in a very unimpressive 41st place. She blames her poor scores on the fact that the judges appreciate good music but she needs to look a lot closer to home. Stick to the ironing love!
A great week for donjerous who has put a poor week behind him and also records his PB. He's nothing more than midtable fodder at the minute but will be encouraged by this performance.
Markthemiller's mental state looks in great shape and he is not at all worried by his fall from grace for the second consecutive year. Last year it was like a slow death for him. He was tortured by his own poor form. It's like he was falling over the edge of a cliff. It wasn't quick, it was very slow but everyone knew he was eventually going to fall off and die and no one could save him. The build up to that was not very pretty for anyone. The whole messageboard witnessed a man have a mental breakdown. This year the Samaritans are relaxing when last year they were clocking up hours of overtime.
