Talking of weekly wins, a maiden victory for gazisamiller. Gaz was a top ten contender in last year's competition but he dropped out midway through the competition, presumably unable to take the banter from his next door neighbour, who is none other than the mug he has pipped to the weekly win this round. That's Gino by the way! Gaz's effort of "The German siamese twins were delighted with their player-manager role" was deemed to be the best by the panel of judges.
What a long time a week is in the world of Caption Competitions. The form player and sitting pretty at the top of the table one week and down to 7th with a poor effort the next. That's the predicament that Blockheads finds himself in. He wasn't the only player to suffer though. Skipton_Bulldog, ColinRUFC and Jeflebowski were all victims and they slip well down the leaderboard. Stevelmu09's poor form continues as well. The verdict at this end suggests he needs to concentrate on his own game rather than blaming everything else. He has potential to be a winner in this competition, he just needs to find it within himself to start performing and remember that the picture is the same for everyone. Gaz, Heman, Millerbezz and Bigladonos all took advantage and steamed in to the top ten.
Some people never learn! Having seen Bavaria_Miller record the lowest ever score in the Caption Competition history with a entry consisting purely of foreign language (I found out yesterday what it said as well by the way), Masta_2009 and Kimi_miller fell in to the trap this week and received appalling marks as a result. This is a huge blow for Masta inparticular and last year's runner up already is seeing his season in tatters!
Can anyone tell us when Markthemiller is back? That's two write ups now where we haven't been able to rip him!! And come on Foo! Where were you this week??
