Last year's champion Gino has made a solid start without ever threatening the top of the board and the weekly win column still stays blank for him. He will be looking to get this rather large monkey off his back as soon as possible as it could affect his title retaining attempts.
Outsider Markthemiller, who suffered huge mental problems throughout the whole of last tournament has clearly benefitted from the summer break as he came back in good form. However, he will do well to remember that he was the winner in week one of last year's competition and look what happened then. It was the simplicity of Mark's caption that endeared it to the judges and if he stays calm and focused he could make those 100/1 odds look foolish.
The first weekly win goes to Jefflebowski84, who goes straight to the top of the leaderboard with an entertaining offering of: "Strictly come dancing hits the continent.... ". Jeff was not a regular entrant last year, if he keeps that sort of form up he could be one to watch.
Nomorespam has the dubious honour of receiving the lowest ever score in the history of the competition, after his entry received poor marks from all of the judges. He will have to improve from this sort of shjowing if he is going to be taken seriously in this game.
A no show from UFO this week. There has been much talk about the credentials of women and making people laugh, perhaps deep down she knows the answer and didn't want to embarrass herself. Or maybe the sun in Spain was too hot to make her feel inclined to get to an internet cafe!! We look forward to her return in Round two.
