Now he has a perfect excuse, personally I don't think it has made any difference but Markthemiller's sleepless nights have affected him badly and he is the only person in the top five not to receive double points and in theory, given his proven track record this ends his challenge on a top three spot. When the competition is over he will need to reflect on his inability to secure doubles. One out of four is simply not good enough.
It's getting tight as Masta_2009 and The_Dark_Horse battle it out for second spot. Both got doubles but the shady farmyard animal has closed the gap after he secured his second weekly win. "Ref: "I said 'Back off you four' NOT 'Fack off you bore'" was a good entry.
The_Dark_Horse has to share his weekly glory though as CTMiller also came to the party and secured back to back weekly wins. "Man U players had no inkling of Geoff Boycott's chosen second career until well into the game...." was good enough for CT to be a winner.
On the whole though, this was a poor week and you need to take a good look at yourselves before you enter this week's round. Some of you need reminding that this is a caption competition not a conversation competition. Make us laugh, don't bore us!
It's time for rivalry watch and neither S64miller, Zipahdeedoodah or Millers1884 can be proud of their efforts this week. S64 and Zippy could only manage measley scores pretty much kissing goodbye their chances of a top three finish and 1884 couldn't even be bothered to enter and he continues to languish well down the table with the other lamers who only enter when it suits them! You have to be in it to win it!!
