Paul became a Football League Linesmen in 1986 and reached the National List of referee's in 1990 making him the most senior official, he has been refereeing for over 30 years, starting in the Hertfordshire County and Isthmian Leaguesback in 1977.
Included among the many games he has refereed is the FA Sunday Cup Final, the 2006 League Two Play Off Final and an International game - Nigeria v Venezuela.
Paul, in 31 games this season has issued 116 yellow and 11 red cards, good grief!
Running the lines will be John Hopkins (Essex) along with Adrian Matthews (Wiltshire)
