Russell became a National Listed assistant Referee in 1998 and joined the National Listed referees panel in 2004.
Last season he refereed two Millers games, both ending in defeat. The first fixture was against Grimsby Town, the home side running out comfortable winners 3-0.
The second was the 2-0 loss at Barnet, where a Paul Furlong double showed life really does begin at 40!
This season has seen Russell take charge of 14 games in which he has produced 22 yellow and two Red cards.
Running the lines will be Paul Davison along with Mathew Dicicco, both from Cleveland.
The Fourth will be Official Jason Whiteley (W. Yorkshire)
