Carl is a Central heating technician who enjoys watching most sports and playing Golf.

He started refereeing in the Hull Sunday League in 1992 and was promoted via the Northern Premier league to the National List of assistant referees in 1996, Carl reached National List of referees in 2002.

Has refereed two semi finals of the FA Vase and was 4th Official for the FA Youth Cup Final in 2000.

Carl this season has refereed 18 games issuing 25 yellow cards, up to now he has not reached for the red card at all which isn't too bad.

Last season he took two games involving the Millers, both matches at home the 2-0 win over Shrewsbury, and 1-1 draw with Wycombe.

Running the line will be Ryan Johnson (Greater Manchester) along with Alan Parker (Derbyshire).

The Fourth Official is Scott Ledger (South Yorkshire)
