This is the second time Richard has taken a Millers game this season, he was the ref in our away defeat to Gillingham (4-0) in wihch Danny Harrison's 34th minute tackle on the Gill's captain Barry Fuller was deemed as worthy of a straight red card.
Richard was promoted to The National List of Referees in 1999.Listed amongst the games he has referreed are the FL Play Off Semi Finals in 2004, 2005 and 2007, and a final in 2004.
In 2005 he refed the FA Vase Final In the 2004-2005 season he refereed matches in the Premier League.
In his 26 games this season Richard has issued 67 yellow and 7 red cards.
