Mike started refereeing in the early 1990's, and progressed through the South Midlands League reaching the National List of assistant referees in 2000, he was promoted to the referees' list in 2004.
Mike is also a licensed FA Coach.
Last season he reffed to games involving the Millers both being away fixtures the 0-2 win against Chesterfield and the 3-1 defeat at Peterborough.
In the 17 games he has been in charge this season Mike has issued 37 yellow and 2 red cards.
Running the lines will be Paul Curry (Northumberland) along with Darren Handley (Lancashire)
