History of the Rotherham United v Darlington fixture

Rotherham prepare to entertain Darlington at Don Valley Stadium on Tuesday evening, and hold the advantage on previous meetings between the two. Of the 32 games played, The Millers have recorded 14 wins, and Darlington have come away with 11 victories.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Don Valley was just last season, in December 2008, where the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in the JPT, the Millers eventually winning on penalties.

Recent respective form guides

Although both sides have suffered a fixture pile up due to the poor weather, Rotherham United remain unbeaten in their last six home games, though five of those have been draws. The goals for column just outweighs the goals against over this period, 7 to 5.

The away form of Darlington is pretty dire, losing every single one of the last six matches played! While The Quakers have hit just 4 goals, 22 have hit the back of the wrong net as they lay at the foot of the division with only a single point on their travels.

Team News...
The Quakers may give starts to new boys Simon Madden, Chris Dempsey, Gareth Waite, Alan White, Tadgh Purcell and Patrick Dean -  all have arrived in the current transfer window.

They are however missing Dan Groves, Mark Bower and veteran Steve Foster due to injury.

The Millers will welcome back Dale Tonge after injury but have no other concerns, whilst Nick Fenton misses the third of his four game ban as both teams start their busy period of rearranged games.
