Horwood, like many of our refs featured so far early season, is in his debut season of football league officiating and this will be just his seventh game, and of course his first Millers run out.
He ran the line for seven years and last year refereed in the football conference, standing in 14 matches and issuing 48 yellows.
This year he has dished out 19 yellows in his previous six encounters, also sending off Dave Perkins of Rochdale.
