Wigan v Millers Head2Head & early team news

The Millers should have central defensive pairing Chris Swailes and Phil Gilchrist back available after both sat out the midweek loss to Crewe, Gilchrist has restarted training after picking up a Hamstring injury.

However winger Chris Sedgewick has been on the treatment table with a swollen heel, but he is expected to play on Saturday. The Millers recieved boosts from Scott Minto and Michael Procter both training, while the injury which saw loanee Mark Burchill come off at half time on Tuesday, shouldnt stop him from featuring against the Latics.

Transfer target Lloyd Owusu has picked up a knee injury and wont be joining the club in the near future, so expect a strikeforce of Richie Barker and Mark Burchill.

Wigan have a few injury problems of their own, Per Frandsen is out for the season, Matt Jackson and Jason Jarrett are both out with Gary Teale doubtful.

Wigan is a decent place for us to visit, with 5 wins from 11 visits there, although Wigan are unbeaten this season so far, and will be a massive test for the winless Millers.
