Bury striker Lowe recently set a club record 8 goals in 8 consecutive games at the age of 32, whilst Le Fondre, rested in midweek at Bradford, has returned 20 this season despite an iffy patch of late.
Current Millers skipper Ryan Cresswell knows Lowe well from his time at Bury last season and spoke to todays Advertiser.
Cresswell said: "He's one of those, if you get into him then he can take his mind off the game but having said that, he's a good finisher and he works hard and he's got a good all-round game.
"Put the ball in the box and I think Alfie will score you a goal every time whereas Ryan maybe needs one or two chances. Saying that, the goalscoring charts don't lie and Ryan Lowe is top at the minute, so that's a challenge for Alf.
"We can praise Ryan here but hopefully we won't be praising him tomorrow."
Cresswell himself is set to return to the Millers side after injury.
