The Midfielder hobbled off during Tuesday nights win after a kick to the lower back, but he's just looking towards tomorrows game against PNE expects a tough one.
“It's an important home game for us and if we win then it will have been a good league start for us, Preston are going to be a good side and they will be up there at the end of the season in my view. We know how hard it's going to be but it's a home match and if we play like we can, we can give anyone a game.”
He paid tribute to the home support and says their support spur the lads on and looked back to the Aldershot game which he scored the 2nd goal and subsequently got mobbed as the Millers won promotion; “What a day that was, As a player those are the games you want to play in and we want good crowds and full houses again and I'm sure the crowd will spur us on tomorrow like they did last year.”
Frecks started the season as he finished the last, in the goals, with a brace against Crewe last weekend to earn a 3-3 draw via a last minute equilise.
“It's a great feeling to score in the last minute of any game so it was fantastic, With the amount of fans we took to Crewe, it was fitting to celebrate with them."
“We were disappointed with the first half and the goals we conceded but we managed to show character and escape with a point.” he added.
“Alex (Revell) did a brilliant job for us at Crewe, He is great to play off as you can always make that gamble with a run and last week, he's created a couple of chances for me, including the equaliser, so it bodes well for the season ahead.”
