Millers hit man Adam Le Fondre has an interest in looking at two tables after games, the Millers position and the Leading scorer table. With 10 goals in 13 games he is up there with leaders.
'Alf' spoke to the Yorkshire Evening Post saying: "I definitely look out and see who else has scored as I want to be leading scorer in this division. Rotherham to be top of the league and me to be top scorer would be ideal.
"It's good to endear yourself to the fans with some early goals and it's helped me to settle a lot easier as well.
"It's been great. We've been doing well as a team and I've done well individually, so long may that continue."
Helping his goal tally towards being top scorer is being the club penalty taker and he continued: "I always take penalties! I think I've missed one in about 20, Maybe 18, although I've put the rebound in on a couple!
"It's gone well for me so far, but you'd always like to score a few more."
Mark Robins was the influencing factor on front man's move from Rochdale to the Millers early season and the player is thankful for his chance to play on a regular basis.
He said:: "I spoke to the club about signing and then spoke to Mark Robins again and it tipped things for me - that's why I joined.
"It was a strange situation where the man who brought me in then left after two weeks. But I can't begrudge him for that, he's bettered himself and I'm sure anyone in the same situation would have done the same.
"I hope it goes well for him. obviously it's still going well for me and I aim to keep it up.
"The Cheltenham away game and Hereford game at home were ones where we should have been picking up the points. The last few games have seen a mixed bag of results.
"With the Notts County game, we played for a draw in the end and dug in and defended well. Woggy (Andy Warrington) kept them out.
"Some teams have come to stifle us, such as Morecambe, who got a 0-0 draw. I think it's a mark of respect when teams come and put a lot of people behind the ball.
"We've just got to have enough craft and guile to break some teams down.
"But there's nothing to fear in this league. I think other teams are more worried about us than we are about them."
