Speaking to the 'Tiser Alf said; "All good scorers have confidence in their own ability and I have confidence in mine. I will score if given chances and that's what I'm here to do. I want to get to 20 and then take it from there.
"One of the reasons I came here was the ambition of the club. I know I'll get chances here to reach 20 plus and I want to get promotion with it.
"I know League Two. It's second nature to me because I've played in it near enough all my career and I want to get out. I've settled well and I think it shows in my form on the pitch. I feel like one of the lads already.
"It's good for me to get in a rich vein of form at the start. I've done well and I think the team has done well as well. We've dominated most games. Of course there's been spells when other teams have dominated us— that is always going to happen—but for the most part we've really imposed ourselves on the opposition. Also, there's lots of competition for places here and that can only bode well. You play better with competition."
Alf then looked forward to tomorrows game against an in form Chesterfield and Jack Lester who Alf rates; "He's a good player and he's been a consistent scorer, Hopefully I can have the same career as he has. I think Chesterfield will be a good test for us, plus it's a local derby. It will be a measure of how far up we are in the promotion stakes."
