MND is a degenerative disease which attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages from the brain eventually stop reaching muscles which leads to weakness and wasting, affecting how sufferers walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.

They are supporting the charity in honour of fellow Rotherham fan Steve Burns who has been living with the disease since being diagnosed aged 31 in 2012. The charity have provided a great support to Steve and his family, and continue to do so.
The first fundraising challenge was to take a whistlestop tour of all 92 league grounds plus Wembley in 92 hours, which they successfully completed in March.
A follow up fundraising dinner and sports auction is planned at the New York Stadium at the end of June, where a range of signed merchandise and match tickets from a variety of clubs and sports will be sold to the highest bidders. The other way they are hoping to raise money is through the sales of a commemorative tshirt celebrating Revell’s Wembley wondergoal. At least £1 from every sale will go to the charity, and depending on numbers sold they hope also to put some money back in to the club via sponsorship of some sort.
