Appointment could be made by Friday - Stewart

Talking about the shortlist of around eight candidates, Stewart told Footy Heaven that interviews will start tomorrow.

"They'll be hour long interviews and hand on heart, I can honestly say there are no guaranteed favourites.

"There are several people in work on our shortlist, some are managers and some are working as assistants at the moment" said Tony.

The Millers face their third game without a manager this weekend as Barnet visit DVS, but Stewart ws confident that wouldn't happen. Stewart refused to name any candidate who will be interviewed for the position but did hint that Ronnie Moore could be on the shortlist when posed the question.

"I expect to be in a position to appoint a new manager for Rotherham United, hopefully on Thursday but more likely Friday of this week" he added.
