Arnason is looking forward to playing in League 1; “League Two is a very hard league to play in, people don't realise how much, and sometimes the talent doesn't really show. It's more about just grafting and I think we realised that in the last five games when he went out and got those results."
“We weren't the better team in every one but we grafted it out and that got us promoted. I remember the match at Bradford in particular. That was the highest paced game I have ever played. It was outrageous, you didn't get a fraction of a second on the ball." he added.
“I have played in League One and you do get more time and I think it could suit the players here because we can play the ball. On the other hand, if you lose it the opposition will punish you more than in League Two because they have more quality. All in all though, I think the division will suit us.”
The 30 year old was granted an extra fortnight off after being on international duty for Iceland during the summer, Kari looks at the pre-season friendly against Bolton Wanderers.
“Results aren't really important at this stage but I felt what was important was that we played some good football and kept the ball and if we keep playing that way then we will do all right this season."
“Compared to last summer, there are not many new faces. I don't know what the manager is thinking about who is going to play or not, but it looked good on Tuesday and we just have to build on that.” he added
