"Against Shrewsbury on Saturday the atmosphere was brilliant - it was the type of atmosphere I was used to when I was playing for Rotherham - and I think the fans are really starting to identify with the team now." he added.
"The boys are playing with confidence now and showing the ability that I know they have. They've always had it but during the early part of the season we got a few unlucky breaks in terms of decisions. Now they've turned the draws they were getting into wins and, as a manager, I can't ask for much more at the moment."
Meanwhile Robins was concentrating his thoughts on next weeks game against bogey team Chesterfield; "Every game we've got left now is like a cup final. In a way we wish we didn't have a blank weekend but you play with the cards that you're dealt."
"Chesterfield is one of our biggest games of the season but in these situations your next game is always your biggest." he said.
