Speaking to todays Rotherham Advertser, Robbo said: "It's brilliant and is recognition of how well we have performed. I'm delighted to win but you are only as good as the players and staff around you and the supporters have played a part in it too. It's been a real team effort."
Robins looked back at the 1-0 win opening day win over Lincoln City as the most important; "That was the result that got us off and running after a difficult summer, The Sheffield Wednesday win was fantastic for everyone and a really special occasion and to come through it was fantastic. Then we went to Morecambe and put the bad season result there last year to rest. The next match against Chester had added pressure because they hadn't had a great start and then won 5-1 the next game."
"Then we managed to get past Wolves and that was another great result considering they'd beaten Wednesday 4-1 and, just like Chester, went and won 5-1 next game."
"Our point at Brentford last week was a good one and rounded off a great start for us. What has happened so far bodes well for the future but we're not getting carried away. The aim now is to concentrate on making it a good September." he added.
As with last time Robbo won the award, the Millers next opponants are Chesterfield at Saltergate, we won that game 2-0 last time, and Robbo is looking for a simlar result tomorrow; "Chesterfield are a decent side capable of going straight up in my view, so it's another tough one for us." he told the Tiser.
