Back the club Coleman urges

Speaking to the clubs official website - themillers.co.uk Denis issued the rallying call and also took a swipe at the powers that be at the football league.

"We have been expecting relegation since the Bournemouth game, you know its happening but you want to hang on as long as possible. It hurts to be relegated, but we will bounce back we think that we have the right man in Mark Robins. We will support Mark fully next season and we believe that he is the man to bring us back."

"Mark has to do some wheeling and dealing, there is not a lot of money at this club. We have been up against it all season and I think that some people have forgotten last March we were 48 hours from going under. People do not realise the job that we have got on our hands here, but we have all got to pull together and hopefully next season bounce back and get back up as quick as possible."

"We are playing catch not just from the previous administration but from the last 20 years. There has been nothing done here, we are playing in a stadium that's like a museam, it's an absolute disgrace. We are working hard at it and all we can do is keep plugging away at it."

"We will have to sit down with Mark, which we already have, and talk about what he wants and who he wants to keep.We have contracts to sort out and we have been dealing with all the youth contracts and we will then see who Mark want's to bring in."

"There are one or two players who have relegation release clauses in their contract and it is up to them if they want to take that and it is also up to Mark if he want's to keep them. We will look at who we want and then do our best to persuade them to stay."

"Alan Knill was sacked because results spoke for themselves, one win in 19 is not good enough, we could not carry on like that. We would have been down weeks ago if that had carried on. As far as Williamson and Hoskins are concerned they wanted to leave and there is nothing we could do to keep them here, and the club needed the money."

"This season has cost a lot of money. It has cost us the best part of half a million pound because of relegation. We were up against it from the start with the deduction and I think that it is time that the football league look at what they have done. The club was in trouble not because of this board or these players and we are punished for what has gone on before, it is a disgrace."

"The Football League are supposed to be there to help clubs and there is no way that they are helping by deducting the club points. Everybody we speak to at every club has given us sympathy and everybody thinks that they have got it wrong. I know the clubs voted in the rule but it was not for clubs like us, it was meant to hurt the bigger clubs who were getting rid of all their debts and carrying on with the same board, that's not what happened here and it will happen to other clubs. I think it needs looking at before it happens to other clubs, because new people are not going to come in and take over clubs that have been already punished."

"We need the supporters to come in, without them coming through the gates and putting money in we will be doomed. If the supporters want a club then they have got to get behind it."

"From my point of view as a supporter I want to get back up as quick as possible and I think that we need to bounce back as quick as possible. The sooner we get back up then the sooner we can build for the Championship."
