Speaking to the Rotherham Star, Millers chairman Dennis Coleman said: "We are treating each game as if it's a cup final. We need as many supporters as possible. The crowd was our twelfth man against Bristol City and we got a great win. We followed this up with Saturday's victory against Tranmere and we hope supporters will come back to Millmoor for our remaining home games and show their support for the team."

An excert from the statment says.....
Obscene language and gestures from any quarter does not help in endeavouring to achieve that objective.
For the club to succeed it is imperative to encourage a broad based fan support and to allow all these people to watch the game without feeling threatened or uncomfortable in their surroundings.
Emotions can reach fever pitch occasionally, this in itself is wonderful but we do ask all our fans particularly in the family Stand to express themselves without the use of obscenities.
Meanwhile, the club is appealing for homely lodgings for young footballers, Monday to Friday and some Sunday evenings, from July. Anyone interested, contact Jenny or Alison on 01709 512434.
