“We’ve been working so hard over the last few months, and we showed the character in the group,” he said.
“We’ve had great support and you could hear the noise when we score. To be fair, the fans keep coming in their numbers after a sticky patch. I’m buzzing for the fans and hopefully it kick starts another run for us now.
“I felt all I needed was a run in the side and get more match-fit,” Ball added.
“Kieffer has been unbelievable for us and I’ve had to accept that. I’ve kept my head down and made sure I was ready to take my chance when it came along.
“We’ve got great lads and great staff and we are all in it together."
