"They have not done anything to improve them. They are shocking. You are talking about a premier cup competition and the balls don't roll right." he added.
However the Rotherham Advertiser have been in contact with the Football Association and they deny the claims, telling the 'Tiser; "The balls are made by Umbro, our official supplier, and they meet the FIFA approved mark of quality. They satisfy official standards on weight, water absorption, bounce and sphericity—in other words, that they keep their shape."
"These balls have been used since the summer of 2006. They are used for all England and FA Cup games and, as far as I know, we have had no complaint from anywhere else." they added.
However, this has not satisfied Robins who still insists theres a problem with the balls weight; "We've had four delivered for Tuesday and we're taking a close look at them." he said.
