Much has changed at the Millers since the days when now Crawley boss Richie Barker played for us, New Ground, New Chairman and with that new ambitions, Speaking in the 'Tiser he pays tribute to Tony Stewart and reckons the club will acheive the ambitions.

“With the finances available and with 10,000 people turning up, Rotherham should be a top-six side. They probably have a top four or five budget in our division so for a team that is newly promoted they should be expecting to go straight through."

“The chairman has spent a fair amount of money and Rotherham are a club on the up and having played there for two spells, I know how enthusiastic the fans are. They have been waiting for a new stadium for a long time.”

Barkers predecessor Steve Evans rolls into town tomorrow and that doesnt bother the 38 year old; “It does not make any difference who is in the opposite dugout from me. It is not about that. I will be just reiterating to the players that it is three points and doesn't make any difference"

“The important thing for me is that I shall see some really good friends having played there for five years and two spells. That's far more important to me.” he added.
