Dibble spent 6 years with the Millers but has today left the club to join former manager Neil Warnock at Cardiff.
Speaking to the official website, Warne admitted that this could happen with Dibbs hailing from the area and still having family there, Cardiff's keeping coach Martyn Margetson has joing Crystal Palace.
“Dibbs has been good and he's been here for years and years and he's been like a father figure to me, I always knew when I took over for this interim period that it was a possibility. Dibbs is a Cardiff lad and that was his first club and his mum and dad still live there."
“It was like a dream move for him really and I knew that once Sam Allardyce got back into the game, he'd go after his goalie coach and the merry-go-round starts.”

“I've loved working with him and it meant a lot to him and he took every defeat to heart and it hurt him badly." Warne added.
However, Warne had irons in the fire and former goalkeeper Mike Pollitt has joined the Millers. The 44 year old had 2 spells with the Millers and played in the Premier League with Wigan.
He joined the backroom staff with the Latics and left late last year.
