Full-back George Friend, who is attracting attention from Championship clubs and teenage winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, is another target.
He explained: "Our chief scout has recommended people to us but it's been difficult to get out and look at them. Sometimes you can sign players blind, especially younger ones, but Mendez-Laing I've seen once and need to see again.
"We'll keep making enquiries for players and something might happen next week."
Moore is also keen to bring in a pacey right winger before the January window closes for business.
