However the Sheffielder is looking to come back and has been down at Millmoor for the last 2 weeks in a bid to regain his fitness, playing in the last 2 reserve games for Rotherham.
Even though the Millers could be extinct in the next few weeks, manager Alan Knill has'nt ruled out a deal for Boulding. Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Knill said.
"It depends, If he gets back to full fitness and he looks a long way of that yet then maybe, but we have'nt really talked about it yet, lets see how it goes see if he likes us and we like him."
"Next week we have reserve game against Bradford so he will porbably play the whole game. At the end of the month we'll speak to him and ask what you want to do Mick and take it from there."
