The game was delayed for around ten minutes whilst Brogan was attended to before the full back, who had been playing left midfield, was taken to the local hospital where he was diagnosed with a fracture of both his tibia and fibia in his left leg.
Brogan, who has made 32 starts for the Millers this year will stay in overnight before undergoing an operation tomorrow morning to correct a displaced bone.
MK Dons assistant manager Ray Mathias was the first to publicly back Brogan to make a speedy recovery. He told MK Dons' official site www.mkdons.co.uk "It's not nice for the lads to have to see it and it did dampen the game but hopefully the lad will be back playing soon. We wish him all the best and hope his career takes a turn for the better after this."
The Millers who were losing 1-0 at the time of the injury did not let it affect them as they rallied to secure a 1-1 draw.
MillersMAD would like to wish Stephan a speedy recovery and look forward t seeing him back on the pitch.
