Busy Christmas for Millers?

MillersMad sister site RushdenMad is reporting that there will be a christmas fixture crush, its looking like the Millers will be playing 2 games in 2 days and also will be playing on New Years Eve, which if the report is correct then lets hope we're at home!!

This move, if confirmed, comes as a bit of a shock as there seems to be no real reason for the change by the League. Championship teams will however finish a week earlier in order for players to prepare effectively for the World Cup that will commence in June of 2006.

The festive period is normally a time when attendances are boosted and with the busy schedule the club will be hoping for a cash boost.

Dates of Fixtures over the Christmas Period
26^th December 2005
27^th December 2005
31^st December 2005
2^nd January 2006

Two of the games will be at Home and the other two obviously away.
