The 19 year-old loanee enjoyed a promising debut last weekend against Cheltenham and spoke about the difference in the step up from Aston Villa reserves.
He told the Advertiser: “There's a big difference between the level of football here and playing for Aston Villa reserves. Saturday was my first ever league game and playing alongside grown men rather than people around my own age is a big step up.
“But it's good to be playing more competitive football against older players, that's what I've wanted to get at. Villa have bedded me in and got me prepared by giving me the opportunity to play here so I have to thank them for what they've done for me so far.
“It's early days and if I can keep on playing like I did against Cheltenham then we shall see what the manager says later on. If not, I'll head back to Villa and take it from there. I've not been here long at all but the players have helped me settle in pretty quickly. “
