Pabs had adapted to a midfield role after being shipped out on loan to Crawley Town early last term, and returned a revitalised man - now he's likely to turn his attention to the heart of the back four after Graham Coughlan's departure to Shrewsbury Town.
Speaking to today's 'Tiser, he said: "I'll just take it in my stride and get on with it. I'd like to think I'm the sort who can lead by example and I do talk a lot on the field. I've played centre-half and midfield while I've been at Rotherham but whichever I play won't make a difference to the way I am as skipper although you probably see the ball a bit more in midfield.
"With the points penalty it is a case of being strong and sticking together as a squad and getting through it.
"I would like to think that I've got myself sorted out now and the manager is repaying me," he concluded.
