Cardiff City Head2Head & Team Preview

Cardiff City is the obsticle that the Millers have to overcome this Saturday as they still lokk for thier first win of the season, a loss is just not an option and would leave Ronnie Moore's men 7 points adrift at the bottom of the league.

Despite the promises of player movement after the defeat and poor performance at Wigan nothing has happened although Ronnie has circulated the news that some of the Millmoor squad are available for Transfer and loans.

Partridge
Ronnie has had his fair amount of dissapointments over the last couple of weeks however, Reading Duo, Lloyd Owuso and ex-Miller Shaun Goater were lined to come, but an injury to Nicky Forster meant that Reading wouldnt release them. Liverpool's Ritchie Partridge is now injured. And latest target Dele Adebola turned down a move to Millmoor, instead opting to extend his loan at Bradford City into a third and final month after Ronnie had agreed a deal with Coventry boss Peter Reid for the 29 year old to move to Millmoor on loan - much to the disgust of Ronnie Moore.

He told todays Rotherham Star "When a player does something like that it tells you a lot about their character," "He had the chance to come here and make a real name for himself and help us out of a fix but he'd rather stay there and play in a lower division - and he's been on the bench for most of his time there. People talk about players being in the comfort zone and in my opinion that is exactly what this is about." he added.

Macca
The Millers should have Martin McIntosh back in the squad after he completed his 3rd reserve game since his injury in the 4-1 win over Hartlepool, In which Paul Warne scored again. However judging from what Ronnie told the Star today, "I think I'll have to have a change and play two smaller lads up front. I normally like to have a big lad and someone shorter and nippier alongside but I think I will go with pace." I reckon we could see Michael Proctor and Mark Burchill play upfront on Saturday.

Burchill's months loan which runs out after the Plymouth game will also be extended for another 2 months.
