The draw is regionalised and seeded, so the Millers will definitely face one of 18 teams. Only teams in the Northern section can be drawn against each other and each seeded team will play a non-seeded team. The Millers are a non-seeded team.
That means there are some potentially attractive and/or lucrative ties possible. With Doncaster Rovers being one of the seeded League One sides, there is a chance of a local derby clash with them, Wednesday, United, Barnsley or Scunthorpe. Forest, Leeds and Wolves are amongst the bigger names making up the Northern group of seeded teams. Tranmere have also been seeded, which could mean Ronnie and Brecks in opposing dug-outs for the first time.
We cannot, though, face Bradford, Chesterfield or Mansfield, as they are unseeded.
