Carling Cup team news - Sheff Wed (A)

With the Millers gonig into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over Lincoln City on Saturday, boss Mark Robins may tinker slightly with his starting 11.

The gaffer (and us at MillersMAD) are keeping the side closely under wraps, lets just say don't believe all you hear on the injury front on our messgeboard yesterday!

I'd expect a similar squad to that of the weekend, although Mark Burchill is unlikely to be fit as is fellow forward Marc Newsham.

Robbo's opposite number Brian Laws will have to do without Akpo Sodje, who bagged four against the Millers in his Port Vale days in a 5-1 win at Millmoor. The striker has knee tendon damage and came off in the 4-1 thumping of Burnley on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Laws is pondering squad rotation even at this early stage of the season and also has Peter Gilbert back from suspension folloiwng on from last season's red card at Blackpool. Jimmy Smith, on loan from Chelsea, could make his debut in midfield.
