Chairman Tony Stewart has been considering the name of the new £20million stadium, which lays on a part of land named after one of America's famous states, on the Guest and Chrimes site.
Rumbleings this week have been that Stewart and his board of directors are very close to finalising the naming rights, which boasts an old town link to present-day New York - their cast-iron fire hydrants were made at the former Guest and Chrimes foundry.
Thus, the New York Foundry has been a much discussed name, but this news has seen mixed reaction with MillersMAD users.

Meanwhile, the Steelwork continues to be erected and progress at the site is going to schedule.
