The 26 year old attacker was out of contract and despite talks to try and keep him with the Millers, he has decided to join Premier League new boys Luton Town.
A statement on themillers.co.uk said; "Having taken time to assess his options over the summer months – which included a good offer on the table from the Millers to retain his services – Chieo found the lure of Premier League football too much to turn down. He leaves with all the best wishes and thanks from everyone at Rotherham United."
