Club and pubs to host Don Valley travel?

As discussed previously on MillersMAD, several pubs in the local area are considering the option of bussing their regular pre-match punters to home matches, now it seems the club may be taking the idea on board in an official capacity, according to reports in today's Star.
Pubs such as the Prince of Wales and the Wilton, along with pubs in other areas of Rotherham already run their own coaches to away games, along with Rotherham United Supporters Club, who will continue to be housed in the Moulders Rest for the time being and last season operated free travel to it's members on First buses on all home matchdays between 1 and 7pm.
This new scheme definately seems to make good sense for supporters in terms of allowing for busy traffic around Meadowhall, despite all the transport links to Don Valley.
The scheme is just one in a long line of ideas being discussed under the new Tony Stewart era, and as always we'll keep you posted on any developments.
