The Millers start the first of their four pre-season games at their new home on July 21st against the Tykes, but only 6,000 tickets are available for the fixture, with the majority having already been snapped up by season ticket holders.
All unsold tickets will go on general sale from 9am on Saturday morning, and the club have warned any fans that miss out in the scramble for a ticket not to turn up on the day.
A club spokesman told todays Advertiser: “We have to adhere strictly to the regulations which is why we have had to stagger the capacity levels. We are expecting a high demand, especially for the first game but we must stress that no-one will be admitted unless they have a pre-purchased ticket.
“We decided to admit away fans because it is an exercise in policing the game and we wanted to make it as much a regular match-day experience as possible.”
Tickets for the matches against Doncaster, Hearts and Sheffield United are also on sale from tomorrow, with the ticket office opening from 10am this Sunday. Fans can also book to collect via telephone on 08444 140737.
Tickets for the full capacity games against Hearts and the Blades will be also be available on the day if any are left, but from Mangham House only.
The first team take on Parkgate at Roundwood tomorrow, kick off is at noon and fans are advised to arrive early. Prices are £5 adults and £3 concessions.
