The 24 Year-old has agreed to join the Millers ranks after being released by Crewe Alexandra despite being a fans favorite at Gresty Road.
The Midfielder was signed by Crewe from non-league Hayes after impressing on trial, but it was alleged that he fell out of favour with Dario Gradi after a disagreement and was subsequently loaned out to Gillingham for a month, scoring once in the five games he played. He was also looked at by Luton Town.
Cochrane has signed a two year contract at Millmoor, and is the fifth signing by Alan Knill in a busy couple of weeks, with still more signings expected.
