Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Knill said "There's obviously a knock-on effect to it, when I was told on Tuesday, that was the first thing i said that it would be difficult to attract players because we're starting on minus ten. The players you want to attract probably wouldn't want to come, because they'll think it's gonna be a relegation fight again."
"But then the other side is, the players that do come are the ones that like a challenge. If they're gonna be hungry you'll want them in the football club. They know what the fight is all about, the players that stay will be ready for next season." Knill added.
