Deon - I'm loving it!!

After scoring 7 goals in 9 appearances, and proving some of the Millmoor doubters wrong. Deon Burton is enjoying life at Millmoor and he told BBC Sport, "I'm loving it - could not have asked for better. I don't know too much about the past here, I don't think there are many teams that will look forward to coming here. All the players here are capable of playing at a higher level."

Burton spoke about his partnership with Martin Butler which is bearing fruit for the Millers with 10 goals between them already. "I think we have kicked off very nicely. It was the first time we met each other but the understanding has been there since day one.

"Either you click or don't but fortunately we have. I always like to have a strike partner to share the load and team up together to try and get goals."

Burton bagged his first hat-trick of his career agains Blackpool a fortnight ago, and he's hoping to get another against former club Brentford in a couple of weeks. "I got my first hat-trick and I'm now looking to get a few more this season, It was great feeling and the ball is at home in the cabinet."

"I cannot wait to play Brentford, It is going to be a very good day - it is the first thing that I looked for." Burton added.
