Raynes made a comeback in Tuesdays reserve game at Middlesbrough, but has now tweaked his hamstring for a second time.
There was better news for Mark Bradley though who will return to the first team squad and travel to the game after an ankle injury.
Evans told Millersplayer: "Michael will not be travelling at the weekend, he has tweaked his hamstring a little during the reserve game. It is not as bad as it was before and Denis Circuit is telling us maybe 10 days, hopefully a little less but he is not going to travel,
"Bradders has come through that eserve game fine, he has trained again today and he looked bright, as all the lads did, so he will be on the coach travelling to Shrewsbury."
Striker Alex Revell is expected to shrug off a knock which saw him withdrawn from the win over Cheltenham on Easter Monday.
