Raynor followed Evans from Crawley to become part of the Millers management team after spending five years alongside the new gaffer in West Sussex.
"Steve is a winner. He is passionate about football, he desperately wants to win and he drags you along with him. He is enthusiastic, he loves the game - he’s 24/7 and he talks and breathes it every minute", said the new number two.
“When he gets a player in front of him, he motivates them. Then he sells them the dream, very much like Tony Stewart sold us the project and the dream here.
“He’s a passionate bloke, that’s well documented and he’s been successful everywhere he’s been. It can be a negative aswell as a positive but the players know we head and kick every ball with them, we’re vocal and we try to get the best out of them.
“We can give out a rollicking but be the first to give them a hug when we’ve won because we’re all in it together," he added.
