Evans remains grounded though and knows his team must go about their jobs professionally to claim a place in League One.
He said: "We have to remember that there is still a point or three to be won and if we don't go about our business properly then it will be the play-offs.
"All of the players are desperate to play and who wouldn't be? There'll be a passionate full house in the ground and we hope we can perform for them.
"I've never had any doubts. I've never come away from a game this season thinking 'how has my team won that?'
"I manage a team with an incredible fanbase and support. If we get a point on Saturday, then it will be the party of all parties."
