After the weekend win at Parkgate, the Millers again used a mixture of players on Tuesday night to give everyone in the squad a run out and the boss was happy with their work ahead of another match at Livingston this evening.

He told themillers.co.uk: “I thought that we worked hard but we lacked quality with our touch in the first half. We made the 10 changes at half-time and I thought that the second half team worked hard too.

"We missed a good chance. Nicky Walker did well; he robbed the ball and set up an opportunity and at the other end Scott Shearer made a couple of good saves, whilst Adam Collin didn’t have anything really to do.

“In terms of fitness and game time it was good, and we received no injuries, but it has left us with some things to work on,” he added.

“I thought our desire and fitness levels were impressive, which was the aim for coming over the border.”
